Harish Engineers was established in the year 1987 in Mumbai, India formerly known as Harish Refrigeration and founded by Mr. Harish Muthu Bhandary. Mr. Bhandary having Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning has got rich and varied experience in the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration field.

The Company initially introduced its services in Merchant Ships, Oil Rigs and Process platforms at Bombay High on various types of central Plants having capacity 5 to 200 TR of various makes Plants/ Compressors with direct and indirect (Brine) systems. The job included Compressor Repair & overhauling, defect rectification, system tuning with refrigerant and safety controls and modification of system to suit local ambient temperature.

Gradually Company was recognized for its quality services, dedication & commitment and was appointed by Indian Coast Guard as their authorised service contractor for Refit (Dismantling of all equipments, cleaning, Gauging of parts, inspection and renewal of parts if fount defective or worn out and assembling back as per OEM parameters, which includes compressors, pumps, motors, AHU’s, Heat exchangers, Air Trunking/ Ducting with manual and Auto control dampers, Diffusers/ Punka Louvers, Fans, Blowers etc and offering satisfactory performance trials to Quality assurance team of Indian Coast guard ) and rectification of operational defects of Air Conditioning and refrigeration systems on board ships. The company is also registered with Indian Coast Guard.

The Company also expanded into Supply, Installation, Repair/ Refurbishment of Electrical systems, Control & Instrumentation and fabrication work related to Shipping.

The company is authorized by Major shipyards such as Mazagaon dock Ltd., Goa Shipyard Ltd., Cochin Shipyard Ltd., ABG Shipyard Ltd. and Western Shipyard Ltd., Naval dockyard, Mumbai, Naval Ship Repair yard karwar, Mumbai port Trust etc.
